The April meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 23rd at 6:00 p.m. in the Elkins Administration Building.

The Elkins Board of Directors monthly meetings are scheduled for the third (3rd) Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Elkins Administration Building.  Any variation in the date of the meetings due to differing circumstances will be posted.  For more information please call (479) 643-2172.

 Bryan Delozier, President – Email Bryan Delozier
Bryan Delozier graduated high school from Springdale, Arkansas, and received a BSE in Horticulture with a Business minor from the University of Arkansas.  He worked for Cargill for 32 years and retired in 2019.  He and his wife, Carla, moved to Elkins in 1999.  They have four daughters and five grandchildren.  Two of his daughters graduated from McDonald County, Missouri, and the other two daughters graduated from Elkins High School.  Two of his grandchildren attend Elkins Schools.  Retirement activities include traveling, hunting, fishing, attending grandchildren's activities, and working on the farm.

Troy Kestner, Board Member – Email Troy Kestner
Troy Kestner, CFP® is a Senior Vice President and a founding partner of SWK Financial Planning Advisors of Raymond James. In his role, Troy & his team guide select clients through accumulating, preserving and transitioning their wealth. Troy started in the financial services business in 1993 and worked for Arvest Wealth Management for 17 years prior to opening SWK Financial Planning Advisors in 2019. He graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Business and was an Arkansas Razorback Letterman in Football in 1991 & 92. Troy, his wife since 1992, and three daughters moved to the country & the Elkins school district in 2011.  They are very involved in the Fayetteville and Elkins communities and are active members of Fellowship Bible Church in Fayetteville.  He serves as a Board Director for Freedom 5:One Ministries and the Elkins School District.  Troy enjoys the great outdoors with his family as much as possible.

Laren Vaught, Vice-President – Email Laren Vaught
Laren Vaught is a graduate of Elkins High School.  She has earned her BSE, Med, and preschool through eighth grade administration endorsement from the University of Arkansas.  She served as a teacher for Elkins Elementary School for six years until she left to raise her two boys, and they both graduated from Elkins.  Laren is married to Jason Vaught who is also an Elkins High School graduate.  She has served on the Elkins School Board since 2005.  She owns and operates Razorback Rentals commercial real estate business since 2001.  Her favorite pastime is traveling to and exploring new (sunny) places.

Gayla Stahman, Secretary – Email Gayla Stahman
Gayla Stahman is a 1983 graduate of Elkins High School.  She is a third-generation school board member.  Her father, Bruce Clark, served for 10 years and her grandfather, Jim Clark, served for 5 years.  Gayla is married to Ken Stahman and they have three children who all graduated from Elkins High School.  Gayla and her husband have owned and operated Tile-Rifics, Inc., since 1987 and she has been the office manager for the City of Elkins since 2007.  She is also on the Elkins Community Center Board.  Gayla’s passions are God, spending time with family, and all sports, although basketball is her favorite.

Jeff Barnett, Disbursing Officer - Email Jeff Barnett
Jeff Barnett grew up in Northwest Arkansas.  He is the Technical Services Supervisor for Ozarks Electric Cooperative.  Jeff has been employed by Ozarks Electric for 28 years.  He and his wife Missy, a graduate of Elkins High School and lifelong resident of Elkins, have been married for 27 years.  They have two children.  Their daughter and son both graduated from Elkins High School.  Jeff and his family are active members of the community and attend church at Living Faith in Fayetteville.  Jeff enjoys being outdoors, working on the family farm, attending various sporting events, and spending time with his family.
